Having looked around at a variety of weightraining belts including Shiek belts, this belt has to be THE best combination of support, quality and value out there. It has a 6 inch lumbar support, 3 inch scalloped sides for comfort, and a 5-inch front for abdominal support for intra-abdominal pressure to protect the spine.

Having used it for a few workouts, I can safely say it is superb, enough 'give' so the abs can push against it to provide lumbar support and maintain correct 'lordosis' or lumbar curvature, and extremely comfortable. Used it on heavy (140kg) bent-over rows and was amazed at the support it gave, plus far more comfortable than my leather 4" powerlifting belt. Perhaps not suitable for advanced powerlifters or 'super heavy' trainers on deadlifting or squats as there is a small amount of 'give' which you may not like, especially if you are used to rigid powerlifting belts, but for general bodybuilding it is excellent.
